The Xquick coupler, based on OilQuick’s technology, enables operators to switch tools in seconds without workers needing to be around the machine. It aims to reduce risks and increase productivity, particularly on site where space is limited.

“We are thrilled to bring Xquick couplers to the mining market in partnership with OilQuick,” said Jyrki Hyyrönmäki, Global Sales Director of Normet’s Xrock Breaker Product Line.

“This collaboration allows us to create new business opportunities for our customers, further strengthening the comprehensive solutions offered through our Xrock product line.”

The Xquick system is integrated into Normet’s Xrock product suite, aiming to support companies by facilitating faster tool changes, which could improve flexibility and uptime on job sites.

“This partnership with Normet is a great opportunity for us to move into the mining segment,” added Johan Lindqvist, Sales Director at OilQuick.

“With our long experience and well-known reputation when it comes to quality and efficiency I know we have a lot to offer, not to mention workplace safety in the construction business where we are best in class for sure.”

Normet, based in Finland, develops technology solutions for underground mining, tunneling, and civil engineering projects and operates globally with over 1,800 employees.
