Two new members for EDA
10 January 2022
The European Demolition Association (EDA), platform for national demolition associations, demolition contractors and suppliers, has welcomed two new companies to its membership.

Based in Spain, Hercal Diggers is a company specialising in the circular demolition of buildings, warehouses and large industrial facilities.
It has a large fleet of its own machinery, which is constantly being renewed, and he environmental commitment has been one of Hercal’s strategic pillars since the company was founded.
Hercal says it views demolition not as the end of the life of the structures it takes down, but the beginning of a new life cycle of materials, managing each demolition with a new bank of resources.
The recent start up of the H-Zero CDW Valorisation Plant (Terrassa) is an example of Hercal’s willingness to put circular demolition into practice.
In addition to the demolition division, Hercal Diggers has a division for earthmoving and decontamination division, a civil works division specialising in urbanisation and below-grade works, and a concrete plant with recycled aggregate.
Danish manufacturer and handheld hydraulic equipment supplier Hycon has been in business for 20 years and is focused on the production and development of hydraulics.
All engineering and assembly is done in-house to ensure full control of quality and performance, and all products are thoroughly tested before approval by the staff.
The company has more than 40,000 tools in operation worldwide.
