The crushing and screening equipment manufacturer recently agreed a distribution deal with Swecon, a major dealer of Volvo construction equipment that operates as part of Sweden-based Lantmännen Group and has over 1,300 employees across five countries.

Described as a “step forward for both companies”, the new partnership will see Swecon provide crushing and screening machinery sales services, spare parts and maintenance services to demolition, aggregates and construction sector customers in Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania.

Peter Einarsson, Director, Uptime Services & Expansion, Swecon, said: “Our continuous development leads to new cooperation and solutions for our clients. Aggregates contractors need easy-to-use, energy efficient and high-mobility solutions. In partnership with Metso, we will be able to provide our clients with sustainable machines, parts and services.”

Carlos Padin, Vice President, responsible for Aggregates Europe, Middle East and Africa Distribution Management in Metso, added: “We are delighted to have Swecon as our exclusive distributor for equipment, parts and services.

“Swecon is a leading supplier of state-of-the-art construction machinery, present in various service locations in their area. We look forward to growing our business together with Swecon in the near future.”
