Sandvik highlights demolition and recycling demand in Q3 results
22 October 2026
Sandvik has reported a strong third quarter in 2026, with group revenue rising by 29% to SEK 37.73 billion (€3.4 billion).
CEO Stefan Widing highlighted the company’s strong overall performance, supported by higher sales volumes and improved pricing.
The results were more mixed in its Rock Processing division, although Sandvik reported positive market sentiment in demolition and recycling, suggesting that demand in these sectors remains encouraging.
Orders for new equipment in the Rock Processing division fell by 27% compared with the same period last year.
However, the company pointed out that the previous year’s figures had benefited from several large orders, making the comparison less favourable.

Demand for parts and services was more positive, with aftermarket orders increasing by 7%. The division also reported improved adjusted earnings of SEK 418 million (€37.7 million), compared with SEK 392 million (€35.3 million) a year earlier.
The company also continued to expand its processing equipment portfolio during the quarter, introducing a seven-model Compact Screens range in September.
In addition, Sandvik completed its acquisition of Italian filtration specialist Diemme Filtration, which it said strengths its position in mineral processing and related technologies.
