Developed in a compact format, the DXR 705 and DXR 715 are designed for demanding demolition and industrial applications, said Husqvarna.

The company added that with a weight of less than five tons, the new demolition robots combine a compact format with the power and performance that challenge significantly larger machines.

The launch is accompanied by several new tools and attachments designed to broaden the applications that customers can address with the platform.

“With these two models, we can offer a complete range of demolition robots and a breadth of solutions that can open up more opportunities for our customers,” said Fredrik Linnell, vice president product management, light demolition.

The new robots will be produced at Husqvarna’s factory in Åsbro, Sweden, with sales starting this year before being rolled out gradually across all markets.
