The new attachments, each weighing over four tonnes, were purchased through US Abbruchtechnik, Beissner’s long-standing equipment partner based in Oberhausen.

Mounted on 40-tonne class crawler excavators and equipped with OilQuick adapter plates, the breakers are said to enable fast and safe tool changes on site.

The HB 4100 models also come fitted with Epiroc’s HATCON telematics system, providing real-time data on operating hours, location, and service intervals.

Epiroc said this supports improved planning, maintenance, and operational efficiency.

Four of the new units were recently deployed in the dismantling of the Betonkrebs Bridge on the A39 motorway near Wolfsburg.

The bridge demolition, carried out in early June, involved removing around 2,600 tonnes of concrete and steel over a single weekend under challenging conditions, including work on pontoon platforms and multiple shifts.

These breakers deliver consistently high performance, are robust, and remain reliable even under the toughest conditions—particularly in horizontal applications or dusty environments,” said Jens Uhlendorf, Managing Director of F. Beissner GmbH.

According to Epiroc, Beissner has maintained a long-term partnership with US Abbruchtechnik, which continues to provide delivery, commissioning, maintenance, and rental support for the company’s expanding fleet.
