US intro of automatic quick coupler from Steelwrist at ConExpo

Steelwrist will show its third-generation XTR tiltrotators and new automatic SQ40 quick coupler at ConExpo in Las Vegas during 3–7 March 2026.

The company will take part in the live show with multiple excavators to demonstrate the advantage of combining Steelwrist tiltrotators with automatic quick coupling and a shared set of work tools.
Two compact excavators with the new automatic SQ40 quick coupler on the X07 tilt rotator will be on show. This is the first appearance of the SQ40 in North America following the launch at Bauma last year in Munich.
The SQ40 can also be used on smaller excavators for quick changes of high flow-powered work tools which can be done without leaving the cab.
In addition, ConExpo will see a 14-ton short swing excavator with a third-generation tilt rotator, the XTR15, with the Open-S compliant SQ60 automatic coupler. The XTR15 is one of five models of the new third-generation tiltrotators from Steelwrist, all of which will be on display.
Finally, the show will feature an electric-powered compact excavator equipped with the smallest XTR2 tilt rotator.
