The crushing and screening equipment specialist will spotlight its updated QMBack crusher backing and its C3 Complete Crusher Control System.

QMBack is a 100% solid epoxy resin backing compound that has been formulated to provide high, compressive strength support for wear parts in all kinds of quarry and mining machinery, such as crushers, grinders and other heavy-duty equipment.

QMS said: “QMBack combines high impact resistance, superior compressive strength, non-flammability, high stability, and low shrinkage all in one system.

“QMBack has been available for some years but has been continually refined. The latest version has been developed to prolong the life of machinery whilst protecting against impact and shock vibration.”

According to the manufacturer, the product enhances productivity and is “easily applied by machinery operating personnel with minimal training”.

Alongside the QMBack, QMS will also showcase the C3 Complete Crusher Control system for its B-Series cone crushers. An integrated system, the C3 system controls all aspects of the crusher’s operation and makes it easier to operate.

The system comes with a remote touch screen that gives users full process control, and provides real time monitoring of all the machine’s parameters.

Key features of the system include an automatic start up function that incorporates cavity calibration, and automatic pressure and power adjustment capabilities that enable the crusher to handle rock and moisture properties.

C3 comes with a remote touch screen that gives users full process control, and provides real time monitoring of all the machine’s parameters. It also monitors all health functions and provides users with relevant information, such as event logs and alarms.

QMS said: “The operating hours of the crusher can be seen at a glance, both on and off load. Energy costs can be calculated as C3 records kilowatt hours used. The touch screen PLC also stores pdf versions of all operator manuals, spare parts list, and electrical layouts.

“C3 also includes the main and auxiliary starters, eliminating the need for any third party electrical equipment.”

The QMBack and C3 Complete Crusher Control system will be showcased alongside a range of the manufacturer’s screens, modular plants, crushers and aftermarket parts and consumables at Hillhead exhibition stand Q10.

Commenting on its plans for the upcoming show, QMS said: “Hillhead is the biggest exhibition of its kind in the world and as such is the perfect occasion for QMS to unveil two of its latest game-changing developments, as well as displaying a selection of its leading equipment for the minerals extractive industries.

“All of these developments show how QMS has passionately striven to deliver exceptional engineering, designing, and developing process solutions that support customers in the quarrying, mining, recycling and demolition industries, globally.”
