The latest model features a 16ft x 5ft (5m x 1.5m) double-deck screen, powered by a Cat C4.4 or C3.6 engine, and is designed for heavy-duty applications.
It includes a 9m³ hopper with impact bed, 1400mm-wide 4-ply feed belt, telescopic extending side conveyors, and radio remote control.
The machine weighs 29,250kg and runs on 4000mm tracks with 500mm shoes, with walkways on both sides for ease of maintenance and operation.
Screencore said the Trident 165 has been engineered for quick set-up, ease of transport, and intuitive operation.
Full-sized top and bottom decks are designed to maintain consistent production without the loss of screening area, while an optional apron feeder allows for super-duty operation.
The updated model is also available with Dual-Power capability, enabling operation via diesel or electric power and providing auxiliary electric or hydraulic output to power downstream equipment.
Screencore director Ciarán Ryan said: “The new version of the Trident 165 represents the culmination of several years of customer feedback and extensive research to incorporate the best features demanded by customers from a mid-sized scalping screen.
“We have taken the feedback on board to produce what we believe is a game changer, with it and its fellow Trident scalpers, being the first real advancement in scalper screens for twenty or so years.”
