The use of mobile screening plants has progressed towards more sophisticated and demanding tasks, according to Maskin Mekano. It has developed a new range of mobile screening plants featuring an operator focused Rapid swap screen-box design. The screening media comes in a manageable format even for a solo operator, and all fixing measurements are identical for “total flexibility”.

Sales director Calle Smedenman said the electrical drive ensures extremely low operating costs. He said, “In comparison with hydraulically driven plants, the diesel savings have in many cases proven to be large enough to cover the interest costs of the whole investment in a new plant. Not to mention the environmental benefits.”

The first two models in the new range are the LS 1403 fitted with hopper and vibrating feeder designed in collaboration with Skako Comessa, and the S 1403.
