French contractor De Koninck TP, based in Auneuil in the Oise region, recently took delivery of a Komatsu PC350 23 m (75.5 ft) high reach demolition excavator. One of the first outings for the new machine was during the demolition of an annex of the famous Sorbonne University located near the Porte de Clignancourt in Paris, a contract that required maximum precision and accuracy.

De Koninck carries out earthmoving, demolition and public works in the Oise and the acquisition of the PC350HRD will allow the company to further develop its expertise in the demolition sector and to tackle higher buildings.

The PC350HRD was supplied with a 2 position excavation boom so the machine can easily be converted to perform site clearance, low level demolition or general earthmoving. The striking red paint finish was applied at the Komatsu factory in Newcastle, UK, where the high reach excavators are designed and manufactured.
