US mobile screen and crusher equipment supplier IRock Crushers has introduced a new mobile screen for small to mid-sized contractors in the shape of the TS-409 two deck open style feeder tracked unit that joins the company’s four other screening units.

According to the company, the new screen is suitable for processing materials such as topsoil, mulch, sand and gravel, asphalt, coal, limestone and demolition debris. Power comes from a 49.4 kW (66.2 hp) Deutz diesel and it has a maximum throughput of 300 tonnes per hour. It features a hopper with a 3.8 cubic metre (136 cubic feet) capacity and has a 1.1 m (3.5 ft) belt feeder conveyor.

The TS-409 has two 2.8 by 1.2 m (9 by 4 ft) interchangeable screen decks to give a total of 3.9 square metres (42 square feet) of screening area that can size materials up to 30 cm (12 in) in size. It also features 40 cm (15.8 in) wide tracks and an on-board 1.1 m oversized Chevron belt conveyor with a stockpiling height of 3.5 m (11.5 ft). According to IRock, once the machine has been delivered to site on a trailer, it can be set up in just 10 minutes.
