Swedish equipment giant Epiroc has completed its acquisition of French excavator attachments specialist ACB+.

ACB+ is based in Saint Lager, France, and has roughly 140 employees and several production facilities in the country. It manufactures attachments and quick couplers for excavators for used in construction, scrap recycling and deconstruction. According to Epiroc, in the 12 months through to March 31, 2024, ACB+ saw revenues of about SEK 365,000,000 (US$34 million).

While no details regarding the purchase price have been disclosed, Helena Hedblom, Epiroc President and CEO, said: “This acquisition will strengthen our offering of quick couplers and attachments, thereby providing customers a more complete portfolio of productivity-enhancing products and solutions.

“We look forward to welcoming the strong team at ACB+ to Epiroc to grow together in the long-term.”

The purchase of ACB+ is the latest in a raft of acquisitions by Epiroc. It follows the completion of the company’s acquisition of Stanley Infrastructure - a manufacturer of excavator attachments and handheld hydraulic tools, from Stanley Black & Decker Inc, earlier this year.
