Cuddy in award frame

UK demolition contractor Cuddy Group, based in Neath, has been short-listed for the 2008 Construction News Specialists Awards, which are due to be held at the Hilton Hotel, London on 7^th May, 2008. These Awards are held annually to reward the subcontractor “heroes” of the UK construction industry, and have evolved into on the industry’s most celebrated events. The award Cuddy is hoping to scoop up is the one for “Specialist Asbestos Removal Contractor”

To make it onto the shortlist, Cuddy had to demonstrate why it is a leading asbestos removal contractor through the provision of supporting evidence from one or more of its recently completed contracts, such as the asbestos remediation it carried out at Aberthaw Power Station in Wales (pictured). In addition, it had to supply details of successful company performance, client satisfaction and information concerning its training and safety policies.
