Sennebogen to debut 830 G material handler at Bauma 2025

Sennebogen is to present its new 830 G series material handler at Bauma 2025 in Munich. The machine, which has an operating weight of 38 tonnes and a reach of up to 17 metres, is designed for applications including scrap, recycling, timber handling, and port work.

According to Sennebogen, the 830 G is available with either crawler or mobile undercarriages, with or without pylons, and can be configured with boom equipment from 14 m to 17 m. Boom options include a compact boom, curved banana boom, and ULM stick variant.

The company stated: “The material handler can now lift 4.3 t at a 15 m radius in the version with mobile undercarriage.”

The 830 G is powered by a 186 kW Stage V Cummins diesel engine that is fully compatible with hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO) and includes an Eco mode. Sennebogen said the 830 G offers “large-dimensioned lines and optimisation of the multi-circuit hydraulics” and reported that the machine can reduce CO₂ emissions by approximately 18.5 t per year compared to its predecessor.

The machine also includes the manufacturer’s new Maxcab cab and SENcon control system. The cab provides an eye-level height of 5.8 m as standard, with an option for 6.6 m.

Features include an air-suspended, air-conditioned seat, integrated cool box, smartphone charging ports, and a radio with Bluetooth and USB functions. Optional features include an Active Noise Cancelling audio system and automatic climate control with 10 air vents.

The machine’s SENcon system comprises a 10-inch touch display that allows operators to customise settings, create driver profiles, and assign functions to buttons. According to SENNEBOGEN, the system “supports the driver in his daily work and prepares the machine for partial and/or full automation.”

The company added that SENcon enables data sharing for predictive maintenance and offers remote servicing features and over-the-air software updates.

The 830 G will be on display at the Sennebogen booth in the outdoor area FM.712 during Bauma 2025, which takes place from 7 to 13 April at Messe München.
