Data analytics software company Foresight Intelligence has added new artificial intelligence features to its Fleet Intelligence platform, making it the world’s first AI-powered, voice-enabled equipment management platform.

Launched in 2018, Fleet Intelligence is designed specifically for the construction industry and enables users to gain insights into heavy equipment fleets, such as machine downtime, predictive maintenance and location of machines via mobile devices or tablets.

Through the use of AI, Fleet Intelligence can now be controlled by voice in English and Spanish, meaning users can access real-time information about their bulldozers, excavators, trucks, and other equipment. Some of the questions Fleet Intelligence can answer include:

  • Where is excavator #7?
  • What’s the downtime on the dump truck located in Springfield?
  • Which of my dozers need servicing in the next month?
  • Are there any alerts for my equipment on the Phoenix job site?

Dale Hanna, CEO of Foresight Intelligence, said, “The construction industry continues to face an extreme labor shortage worldwide, and Fleet Intelligence helps our customers manage more equipment with fewer people.

“We’re taking those productivity gains to an even higher level with the introduction of our voice-enabled, multi-language capabilities of Fleet Intelligence, which will increase the effectiveness of every team member. Construction managers, fleet supervisors, technicians, and operators will be able to access relevant fleet and equipment data in their preferred language with the power of their voice.”
