ACDE Europe has made a splash at this year’s Bauma event, by showcasing the massive 14-tonne BLTB-280-5-W hydraulic hammer, which is believed to be the largest of its kind in production.

The BLTB-280-5-W features an automatic greasing system and a choice of production or underwater application pistons.

The hammer also has an air-channel for underwater and tunnelling use, a tool retaining pin cover, a swivel hose connection, and RUD-certified 10-tonne lifting hooks.

The company’s next-generation BLTB-5-Series hydraulic hammers, which are available with an optional spraying system for dust control, are also on display at its stand (Hall C5, Stand C5.348).

The range includes automatic greasing systems, a monitoring system from the BLTB-175L-5-W model, optimised hose adapters, and an improved buffer system.
