The framework, managed by EN:Procure , the procurement arm of social housing consortium Efficiency North, covers asbestos consultancy and surveys, air monitoring, licensed and unlicensed asbestos removal, low- and high-rise demolition, and water hygiene management and remedial works.

It is designed to support social housing providers across Northern England, with potential to extend into commercial and public sector buildings.

Lucion employs more than 220 BOHS-qualified surveyors and analysts, supported by UKAS-accredited laboratories, internal QA processes, and a team of over 50 operational support staff.

Max Wright, Business Development Manager and EN:Procure Framework Manager at Lucion, said: “We are delighted to have secured a place on the EN: Procure Generation 4 Framework. This appointment recognises our extensive experience in delivering high-quality asbestos management services to the social housing sector.”

Emma Mottram, Director of Operations at EN:Procure, added: “The asbestos and demolition sector is of huge importance to the construction industry, with projects needing careful planning to protect workers and the public when dealing with this hazardous material that can have serious legal and health-related consequences.

“We need this pool of highly skilled and trusted operators to be involved in the safe handling of asbestos, in line with UK regulations.”

Lucion is one of 54 contractors appointed. Others include demolition contractor Colemans, which announced earlier this month that it would focus on low- and high-rise deconstruction projects under the framework.
