Sandvik has introduced its Essential Maintenance Packages, a new self-service solution that aims to improve the performance and uptime of its mobile crushing and screening equipment.

Designed to simplify routine maintenance and described as a “lifecycle” offering, the packages provide customers with all necessary parts for up to 1,000 hours of operation in a single kit.

Sandvik says the packages allow customers to independently maintain their equipment with genuine parts, and therefore reduce downtime and increase operational efficiency.

Each kit is customised to fit specific models and applications, containing components for engine, drivetrain, and plant maintenance. Customers have the flexibility to order packages with or without wear items, depending on their equipment’s needs. To ensure clarity, all parts are clearly marked, color-coded, and easily identifiable, to further streamline the maintenance process.

The Essential Maintenance Packages can be ordered with a single part number, and include a step-by-step user guide, which aim to make the process accessible even for operators without extensive technical experience.

Parts contained within the kits are genuine and are backed by Sandvik’s standard warranty, which the OEM said means that “customers can be assured of receiving the best quality components”.

It added: “Time is precious and by carrying out routine maintenance, customers can save time and money.

“Through stocking up of the relevant Essential Maintenance Package, customers can be prepared and carry just the essential inventory required for their equipment, resulting in a more efficient operation and higher uptime.”
