WDS 2018 – change of speaker

There has been a late change of speaker for this year’s World Demolition Summit, which takes place in Dublin, Ireland on November 7 and 8.

Dave Murray of the State of Nevada has unfortunately had to withdraw due to ill-health, but the presentation on Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) dust regulations and their lessons for international demolition markets will still go ahead.

Brent Willson, a project, product and compliance manager with US company Dustless Technologies, has kindly agreed to step in. Brent has worked closely with Dave over the years and this will be a seamless transition for the 350-plus delegates expected in the Irish capital next month.

He has been with Dustless Technologies since 2016 and previously served 22 years in the United States Air Force as an analyst, project manager, and aircraft mechanic.

Apart from his expertise in OSHA matters – he helped develop and launch Dustless Technologies’ interactive OSHA Silica Rule compliance tool – Brent is his company’s go-to person on the Environmental Protection Agency’s Repair, Renovation and Painting Programme.
