UK debut for Develon series 9 excavators at Hillhead

The new DX360LC-9 will be working in the demonstration area, showing Develon’s new E-Stop site safety technology, while the DX400HD-9 will form part of the company’s static display.

The new 23-tonne DX230LC-9 model, along with the 26-tonne DX260LC-9, will also be shown. Both are part of the series 9 excavator platform which is built on full electronic hydraulic (FEH) technology and integrated artificial intelligence.

Also on display will be the latest version of the DA30-7 articulated dump truck (ADT), which features the new ADT cab style, designed to maximise operator comfort, productivity and jobsite safety. The DA45-7 model will also be demonstrated.

Develon’s quarrying and construction lineup will be further represented by the DL420CVT-7 wheel loader in the static display area, alongside the larger DL480-7 wheel loader in the demonstration area.

The static display will also include the DD130-7 dozer, which Develon says provides a productive fine-grading solution for residential and light commercial construction projects.

Completing the display, Hillhead will see the first appearance of the DX25Z-7 mini excavator, displayed alongside the larger DX55R-7 and DX85R-7 mini excavators.

The DX25Z-7 mini excavator weighs 2,691 kg and is powered by a Kubota D1305 Stage V compliant diesel engine that delivers 18.5 kW (25 HP) at 2600 rpm.

Its compact dimensions are suited to working in tight spaces in urban construction, landscaping, rental and general contracting.
