Shortlisted companies will learn the various category winners in November

The 2017 Awards – which will take place in London on Thursday November 2 as part of the World Demolition Summit – have attracted another healthy international entry with companies from countries as diverse as India, Russia and Singapore putting themselves forward.

The eight-strong judging panel, which has been sub-divided into smaller groups to complete the shortlisting, has been working steadily through the submissions in the 11 categories that make up the World Demolition Awards.

All entrants will be notified of the outcome by the end of August, with those who have been successful receiving a Shortlisted logo in the relevant category to use in their marketing and publicity.

The judges are keen to point out that not all entrants can or will be shortlisted – and if your company has not been successful, you should not be too disappointed as the standard is, as always, extremely high.

The World Demolition Summit, comprising a one-day technical conference and the awards dinner, is organised by Demolition & Recycling International in co-operation with the European Demolition Association.

Headline sponsor is Volvo Construction Equipment.
