SVP of American DND joins WDS panel
02 October 2025
Bill Schaab, Senior Vice President of American DND, has joined an expert panel set to discuss technology and sustainability at the World Demolition Summit next month.

For more than 45 years, Bill has been a leader in heavy industrial contracting, with a distinguished career encompassing environmental remediation, decommissioning and demolition (D&D), and new construction work.
He has specialized in directed government and industrial nuclear and radiological D&D projects for 30 years, overseeing complex open-air demolitions performed under US Department of Energy and other federal contracts and nuclear power plant decomissionings across the US.
Over his career, he has been directly responsible for performance of more than $1 billion worth of radiological and nuclear D&D projects.
Bill started his career in the trades as an insulator and welder with his father’s asbestos insulation business, later forming his own asbestos abatement company following identification of asbestos as a health hazard.
After selling to a nationwide public company he continued to serve as the Environmental Divisions V. President for a time. Later, he was VP of Operations for a top 20 ranked Demolition Company where he oversaw over 200 people, operated in 37 states, and generated over $50 million in annual revenue.
He formed his own demolition business in 2004—American DND—and has been the face of the company for the past 21 years.
With 30 years of experience in health and safety management on environmental cleanup projects, Bill has led American DND to its exemplary safety record by empowering all employees to actively participate in Safety as Job Number One—achieving together a 21-year continuous work history with zero OSHA recordables over the course of more than 750,000 hours worked.
At WDS, Bill will discuss how technology can, and has enabled the industry to adopt safer practices and improve site productivity.
