The US National Demolition Association (NDA) is running its latest Foundations of Demolition Risk Management course in Chicago on October 22.

The course will take place at the Loews Chicago O’Hare Hotel the day after this year’s World Demolition Summit, which takes place at the same venue, and at which NDA members can receive a 20% discount on ticket prices.

Subjects covered on course include:

  • How to proactively manage risk on demolition projects
  • Methods to rank and determine risk
  • Risks present on a demolition job site
  • Best practices for managing non-safety related risks, such as related risks, such as contractual risk, public relations risk, and more.

Risk Management is the first of four courses all taking place by next spring, with Estimating, Project Management and Job Cost Tracking to follow.

NDA members who complete all four courses can earn a Foundations of Demolition Management Certificate.
