Smiley Monroe highlights conveyor belt range at Hillhead

The company will present products from across its conveyor belt portfolio, including Zip Clip, Toughflex and Integracleat systems for crushing and screening, recycling, agriculture, road construction and environmental applications.

Zip Clip is Smiley Monroe’s ready-to-fit replacement belt system, which the company says can return machines to operation in as little as one hour without the need for vulcanising, helping to minimise downtime.

Also featured will be Toughflex, described as a heavy-duty belt solution for demanding conveying environments. It is engineered to deliver a service life up to four times longer than standard EP multi-ply belts, according to the company.

Also highlighted will be Integracleat custom cleated belts, which incorporate integrally moulded profiles designed to support efficient material handling across a wide range of industrial applications.

Alongside its product range, Smiley Monroe will promote the capabilities of its Midlands Hub in Ilkeston, Derbyshire, which was established to improve product availability and delivery times for customers across Great Britain.

The facility supports next-day delivery and same-day collection services and carries a large stockholding of flat and chevron conveyor belts in a variety of roll sizes and cut lengths. The company says the operation has strengthened customer support while helping operators reduce downtime.
