SBM targets UK growth at Hillhead 2026

Working alongside distribution partners Banner Equipment and Orba Group, the company will present its mobile power for processing, recycling and concrete portfolio, including the Remax and Jawmax crushing lines and the Euromix and Dynamix concrete plants.

Central to the display are the latest hybrid electrified Remax impact crushers and Jawmax jaw crushers, which feature plug-in capability and electric drives for crushers, conveyors and pumps.

According to SBM, the design combines reduced fuel consumption and emissions with lower wear and simplified maintenance, while still allowing full-electric operation from the grid or an external generator where required.

Suitable for both hard rock processing and demanding recycling applications, the Remax 600 impact crusher will take centre stage on the stand.

Designed to process feed sizes up to 1,000 mm, the crusher is capable of outputs of up to 600 t/h and can produce up to five final grain sizes using optional one-, two- or three-deck add-on screens.

Additional recycling functionality is provided through optional double magnetic separators and wind sifters fitted across the screen decks, enabling cleaner recycled end products and greater material recovery.

Also featured will be the Jawmax 450 mobile jaw crusher. Equipped with a two-deck pre-screen and a 1,100 x 700 mm reversible crusher, the unit delivers throughput of up to 450 t/h. SBM says the model combines high mobility with low fuel consumption, reportedly often below 20 l/h in real-world applications, alongside overload and blockage protection systems.

The crusher is supplied with SBM’s Crush Control plant management system, including remote-control operation and app-based remote monitoring of key machine functions.

SBM will also showcase its semi-mobile V-series vertical shaft impact crushers, aimed at operators looking to improve grain shape, refine surplus fractions and add value in specialist recycling applications. Depending on the model, capacities range from 30 to 160 t/h.

Alongside its crushing technology, SBM is expanding its focus on concrete production in the UK and Ireland. At Hillhead, the company will present its mobile Euromix and semi-mobile Dynamix concrete plants, covering daily production capacities from 800 m³ to more than 2,000 m³.

SBM says the Euromix range has been developed for rapid deployment without foundations and can typically be commissioned in less than two days.

The series covers hardened concrete outputs from 80 to 175 m³/h and incorporates integrated mixer modules, dosing systems and BHS twin-shaft mixers for standard and specialist concrete production.

The company will also highlight the Euromix 3300 Space and the recently introduced Euromix 1600 Nova models, both designed to improve accessibility and operational flexibility on constrained sites.

For higher-capacity semi-mobile production, SBM will present the Dynamix 2500. Delivering up to 115 m³/h of hardened concrete, the modular plant combines mobile installation with stationary-type performance. Optional insulation, heating systems and full cladding are available for operation in challenging climates while also helping to reduce dust and noise emissions.
