Ryan Priestly joins WDS 2025 speaker line-up

Demolition & Recycling International is pleased to confirm that Ryan Priestly, chief executive of Priestly Demolition Inc. (PDI), will speak at the 2025 World Demolition Summit.

At WDS 2025, Ryan will present the deconstruction of the UF6 Building 27 at the Cameco Conversion Facility, a challenging project involving a contaminated uranium processing building. The project won a World Demolition Award at last year’s summit in Sweden.

“I’m delighted to welcome Ryan to this year’s WDS speaker programme,” said Leila Steed, WDS Programme Organiser. “At last year’s event in Sweden, two Priestly projects were recognised by our panel of leading industry experts with World Demolition Awards.

“We’re very pleased that Ryan will now share the insights and lessons from one of those award-winning projects with our delegates.”

Based in Ontario, Canada, Ryan has spent more than 30 years with the family business and now focuses on partnership development, fleet management, and building relationships with key industry stakeholders.

Under his leadership, PDI has taken on many of Canada’s most complex, high-risk demolition projects — including several that have earned both World Demolition and National Demolition Awards.
