The Ranger 6-27H model boasts a conveyor length of 27 m (90 ft), which ProStack says provides a greater reach than other similar conveyors on the market, and can also rotate to allow operators to stockpile around 1,735 cu m of material.

The company revealed the new conveyor at three-day customer event hosted by construction equipment dealer Molson at its flaship centre in the UK, where a team from Prostack demonstrated the conveyor’s operations for industry guests.

Lee Nesbitt, ProStack’s Global Sales Manager, said: “We are thrilled to introduce the Ranger 6-27H Tracked Conveyor at Molson’s Open Day.

“This cutting-edge conveyor represents our commitment to providing the industry with innovative and efficient material handling solutions. We believe the Ranger 6-27H will greatly enhance our customers’ operations and contribute to their overall success.”

The Ranger 6-27H model used at the Molson event was then transported to Washington in the United States, to began its working life with a barge loading application.

According to ProStack, the conveyor will be used to help load a barge before being lifted onto the vessel and travelling to Alaska, where it will be used to unload the barge.
