First seen at bauma in March of last year, where it received its European launch, the Atlas Copco CC 6000 Combicutter was unveiled to potential North American customers at the 2011 ConExpo trade show.

The CC 6000 is the heaviest demoliition tool in the company's range of CombiCutter demolition attachments and according to product manager - hydraulic attachments Kevin Loomis: "it accommodates the market's ongoing movement to use larger hydraulic excavators for demolitiion. The CC 6000 weighs in at 6,514 kg (14,330 lb) and is designed for use on carriers weighing from 58 to 86 tonnes. It is available with either universal jaws (U) or steel cutting jaws (S) and features two movable jaws with two main hydraulic cylinders, providing consistently high cutting force throughout the cycle.
