Metso continues Americas expansion

Mesto Outotec is continuing its expansion in the Americas, with the appointment of Compañía General de Equipos (Cogesa) as its equipment dealer in El Salvador.

Cogesa, which was established in 1926 and is also a distributor for Cat and Wacker Neuson, will provide the manufacturer’s full range of fixed and mobile equipment.

This will include the Nordplant brand of modular crushing and screening plants, as well as the Nordtrack mobile crushers, screens and conveyors.

Metso’s first equipment dealer in the Central American country, Cogesa will also provide aftermarket parts and services.

Mario Selva of Cogesa, which is part of the Ferreycorp Group, said: “We have been supporting our customers with high quality equipment sales and support for more than 90 years.

“We are pleased to grow our capabilities and join the Metso Outotec distribution network as their first partner in El Salvador.”
