Metso inaugurates new US location

Metso has officially opened a new office in Pittsburgh, US, and said that it will enhance its bulk material handling and port solutions engineering capabilities.

The company, headquartered in Finland, said the move strengthens customer proximity in North America and underscores its commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and technical support in the region.
Nearly 20 specialists are working at the new hub, which is also looking to expand its team with more talent, Metso said.

Sushanta Dutta, Vice President, Bulk Material Handling Solutions, added that North America offers a strong installed base, which further enables its new team to support customers effectively across the region.
Metso’s bulk material handling offering includes railcar dumpers, apron feeders, belt feeders, conveyors, stackers.
