JCB has introduced a full range of site dumpers, initially for the UK only

JCB is to introduce a range of site dumpers with weights from 1 to 10 tonnes. Initially, they will only be available in the UK, but the plan is for the range will be introduced into other regions in the near future, says the company. It is based around four weight classes: compact 1 and 2 tonnes, 3 to 3.5 tonnes, 6 tonnes and 9-10 tonnes. High tip, forward tip and swivel skip models will be available, with engine powers ranging from 15.5 to 90 kW (20 to 12 hp) and both syncro-shuttle transmissions are available to provide ease of use and maximum travel speeds.

Heavy-duty articulating and oscillating chassis frames provide maximum durability and strength. JCB site dumper skips are constructed using thick steel side walls and heavy-duty steel front and base plates, for increased reliability and longevity. Folding ROPS protection ensures operator safety and large axle oscillation angles provide excellent traction and stability on rough ground.

The machines have been designed for ease of operation with a simple, clear dashboard and automotive-style controls. The dumpers also feature best-in-class ground-level service access, with engine panels mounted on heavy-duty hinges. Swivel tip models have a swing-locking device to ensure that the skip remains locked in position while travelling. In addition all 6-10 tonne models come as standard with high performance oil-immersed disc brakes for maximum stopping power and reduced maintenance.
