The QMJ Group – which organises the United Kingdom’s Hillhead trade show – has announced that just under 18,500 unique visitors attended the three-day event last month, while more than 600 equipment manufacturers, suppliers and service providers took part.

Held at Tarmac’s Hillhead quarry near Buxton in the north of England, the show returned to an in-person event for the first time since 2018.

“Despite the supply issues affecting the industry as we emerge from the pandemic, Hillhead 2022 was our largest and most successful edition yet,” commented event director Richard Bradbury.

“Above all else, Hillhead 2022 has proved there is no substitute for face-to-face events for keeping up to date with the industry, building positive relationships, and doing business.

“We look forward to welcoming you all again in 2024.”
