Exam window opens for NDA’s Certified Demolition Supervisor qualification

Premium Content

The National Demolition Association (NDA) in the United States is now accepting applications for the July testing window for its Certified Demolition Supervisor (CDS) qualification.

The CDS certification recognizes individuals who have demonstrated competence in the demolition of structures, including but not limited to structural, selective, interior, or dismantlement.

A CDS is accountable for all aspects of a demolition project site, including safety, environmental, operations, and people management. The CDS designation promotes safe and quality practice through its ongoing requirements for professional growth in the demolition industry.

Contractors and applicants have until the 31 May to apply to sit the exam, which comprises 110 questions that were created by demolition professionals, so that it relates to real-life demolition experiences.

For more information on the CDS and to apply to take the exam, visit the NDA website: Certification (demolitionassociation.com)
