Decision time looms

It is just until the result of the deliberations of the judging panel for the 2013 World Demolition Awards are to be announced during the World Demolition Summit at the NH Krasnapolsky Hotel in the heart of the city of Amsterdam in the Netherlands.

The event, which will take place on Thursday 31 October, is certain to be a major gathering for the global demolition industry, with a high level conference during the day and the Awards gala dinner in the evening. Speakers will come from around the world to describe to the audience how they overcame the demanding technical challenges they faced in successfully completing their various projects.

In the evening, the best the industry can achieve will be recognised by the announcement of the winners of the 10 specific Award categories, ranging from the best of the best, the Contract of the Year Award, through the Awards for specific contract types, such as the Explosive Demolition Award, Civils Demolition Award through to the Award for the most innovative product developed for the demolition industry by a single manufacturer.
