D&Ri is delighted to confirm the first three speakers for our Virtual Conference taking place on 27 April 2022, titled “Safety and Sustainability in Demolition and Recycling”.

Steve Andrew, the global business development and asset closure director of Australian contractor Liberty Industrial’s new United Kingdom business, Despe of Italy’s CEO Stefano Panseri and Kiro Tamer, head of environmental sustainability at Keltbray, will all grace the virtual platform at next year’s event.

A fourth speaker, based in North America, will be announced soon.

The D&Ri Virtual Conference fills a gap in the calendar ahead of the 2022 World Demolition Summit (WDS) – which itself takes place in Vienna, Austria on 16 and 17 November.

While the WDS remains the go-to event for the global demolition community, we are conscious that the Covid-19 pandemic and its associated travelling restrictions have left some regular delegates unable to attend in person for the past three years.

The Virtual Conference gives everyone associated with demolition and recycling the chance to catch up with developments in the sector, and because it is online there are no restrictions on the numbers who can watch either.

The format will be four presentations of 15 minutes each, after which there will be five minutes of questions supplied by the online audience, with a 30-minute round table rounding off the conference.

Details of how to register for the D&Ri Virtual Conference will be made available in the new year.
