British contractor appoints new MD

An industry professional with almost 30 years’ construction delivery experience has been appointed managing director of specialist contracting group O’Keefe.
Marc Daly joins the group after nine years at Carey civil engineering where he was head of delivery, managing the overall performance and delivery of projects in terms of safety, quality and commercial performance for principal contractors including Skanska, Balfour Beatty and Lendlease.

Holder of a diploma in civil engineering, Marc was also with Laing O’Rourke for nine years, starting as an assistant project manager and progressing to contracts manager.
Marc will be responsible for the O’Keefe group’s four divisions – construction, demolition, remediation and the head office in Kent. His role will include attracting new clients as well as maintaining good business relationships with existing ones.
