O’Keefe appoints new operations manager

A man who lists his main spare time interest as endurance athletics is hitting the ground running at a United Kingdom-based construction and demolition company.

Michael Bassett has joined O’Keefe – which is based in the south east of England – with almost 20 years’ experience in the quality assurance, engineering, design and project management sectors.

He also brings with him a Construction qualification from London’s University of Greenwich and a foundation degree in engineering principles.

Most recently in the project management field, he has also worked as a senior engineer, and a temporary works coordinator.

Michael’s new role at O’Keefe is to oversee group projects to ensure they deliver the client’s brief, and run to programme and budget, as well as maintaining Health and Safety and quality standards. In addition, Michael will help maintain client relationships and assist in securing future projects.

He said: “I am delighted to be joining O’Keefe in this role and look forward to being involved in the wide variety of projects it delivers.”
