Bay Christensen appointed Kobelco dealer for heavy excavators in Denmark

Kobelco Construction Machinery Europe (KCME) has added Bay Christensen to its dealer network in Denmark, appointing the company to specialise in heavy excavators.

The move means Denmark will now be covered by two separate Kobelco dealers, with Bay Christensen responsible for heavy machines and Erenfred Pedersen continuing as the exclusive dealer for mini excavators.

Bay Christensen has more than 40 years of experience in construction and landscaping machinery sales and servicing. Under the new arrangement, the company will focus on Kobelco’s larger machines for demanding applications, such as demolition.

Erenfred Pedersen will maintain its role supporting compact equipment, offering what KCME described as “specialised sales, service, and support” for the mini excavator range.

KCME said the arrangement would give customers “dedicated heavy equipment expertise from Bay Christensen A/S” alongside “mini excavator specialisation from Erenfred Pedersen A/S”.

The company said the addition of Bay Christensen would also expand the service network in Denmark, aiming to provide “faster support and spare parts availability”.
