Awards shortlists – Recycling and Environmental

Today we are announcing the shortlists for the World Demolition Awards.

Three companies have made it to the shortlist for the Recycling and Environmental category.

Congratulations to:

Shortlisted Recycling web

 

  • Costello Dismantling (USA) – for diverting thousands of tons of asbestos-filled concrete from being landfilled during a 1960s primary school
  • Demoliciones Mitre (Argentina) – for its Osram project which recycled 32,000 t of crushed material and more than 780 t of scrap
  • Despe (Italy) – for the 251,000 sq m (2.7 million sq ft) “Chorus Life” asbestos removal and land reclamation project.

The World Demolition Awards take place on Thursday 12 November and are organised by Demolition & Recycling International in co-operation with the European Demolition Association and the National Demolition Association of the USA.

The headline sponsor is Volvo Construction Equipment.
