Keestrack to continue electric roll out at ConExpo

Mobile crushing and screening equipment manufacturer Keestrack has announced its equipment line up for next month’s ConExpo show in Las Vegas, USA – with electric machines including the R5e impactor prominent.

The newly designed R5e is a full electric plug in and is used in aggregate production, recycling and quarrying.

Also on show from the Belgium-based company’s range is the H4e cone crusher, R3 impact crusher and B7 jaw crusher, as well as the K6 scalper which Keestrack introduced to the market in 1996.

Electric machines, under the banner of “join the e-volution”, were also a central theme of Keestrack’s exhibit at the recent Bauma exhibition in Munich, Germany, and vice president sales and marketing Frederik Hoogendoorn is optimistic for the company’s sustainability vision and its route to zero emissions.

“A focus on sustainability is at the core of our company as this is the origin of our business,” said Frederik.

“Producing and recycling valuable raw materials is what mobile crushing and screening is all about.

“Heavy duty industries need very powerful drive systems so we kept searching for alternative drive systems, from load sensing hydraulics, to e-drives and now we are going to zero drives – equipment with no combustion engines on board but only electric motors.

“This request is also a pull from mostly the North European market.”
