Last chance to enter NDA safety awards!

The National Demolition Association (NDA) in the United States is reminding companies to submit applications for the Michael J. Casbon Safety Awards by 10 January 2025.

Established by the NDA Awards Committee and the NDA Safety Committee, the awards aim to recognise companies that have demonstrated excellence in safety practices.

The awards are named in honour of Mike Casbon, commemorating his contributions to safety within the demolition industry, and are subdivided into three categories:

Category A – Less than 100,000 man-hours per year

Category B – 100,001 to 350,000 man-hours per year

Category C – 350,000+ man-hours per year

Winners will be announced at the association’s upcoming Demolition New Orleans event, taking place from 5 to 8 March 2025.

Award applicants are required to submit their entries through an online form, which can be revised until the submission deadline. Alongside completing the application form, applicants must provide data from their 300A form.

For further information on the application process, visit the NDA website: Michael J. Casbon Safety Awards.

Previous winners of the awards have included Target Contractors, Midwest Steel Company, and Independence Demolition.
