Brown & Mason to explore generational leadership at WDS 2025

D&Ri is pleased to announce that two senior professionals from United Kingdom-based contractor Brown & Mason will present at the 2025 World Demolition Summit in Nashville, US, in November.

Alex Hadden, the company’s SHEQ Director, will be joined on stage by PR & Marketing Manager Alex Ellison to deliver a session titled Experience & Exuberance – Leveraging Personal & Professional Legacies to Drive the Future of Demolition.
With over two decades of experience and more than 100 explosive demolition events to his name, Alex Hadden brings deep technical knowledge and operational oversight to the event.
Alex Ellison, who joined Brown & Mason in 2024, has a background in digital transformation, policy, and communications.
Prior to joining Brown and Mason, Alex Ellison led the marketing and project management functions of the UK’s National Federation of Demolition Contractors.
Their joint presentation will reflect the company’s evolving approach to leadership and organisational development, offering perspectives shaped by long-standing industry experience and fresh strategic thinking.
This year’s WDS will bring demolition professionals from around the world to Nashville for two days of presentations, project case studies, and the annual World Demolition Awards.

Other speakers lined up for the 2025 iteration of the World Demolition Summit include, Christopher M. Dowdell; Senior Project Manager at Koch Industries, Jason Curtstinger; Senior Manager of Demolition at the Tennessee Valley Authority, and Rick Boyd; Director of Generation Projects at Dominion Energy, among others.
