Tiltrotator manufacturer Engcon has established Engcon Korea, combining its own sales and aftermarket with a network of dealers and service partners.

Engcon Korea The official launch of Engcon Korea took place at the Conex Korea trade fair last month

The official start of the company took place at the Conex Korea machinery trade fair, where a team from the company’s head office in Sweden joined members of the local staff

In recent years, Engcon has entered markets worldwide, with new operations in Europe, North America and now Asia.

“Our goal is to increase sales outside the Nordic countries,” said CEO Krister Blomgren.

“The market for tiltrotators there is beginning to become saturated and it is only possible to pick up a few percentage points in market share from our competitors.

”But according to our forecasts, within a 10-year period we will have more sales in the North American and Asian markets than we sell throughout Europe. It is

dizzying to think about the potential we have.”

As well as tiltrotators, Engcon sells quick couplers, control systems and tools for excavators and had sales revenues of SEK 1.2 billion (US$140 million) in 2020.
