The Lekatech Electric Hammer is a major advance in hammer design and construction. Of light weight, delivering high power but producing low vibrations, it is built for operator comfort, economic use and high productivity. Electrically powered with low emissions and operating costs, the Electric Hammer is set to transform breaking in quarries, mines, demolition, and construction sites globally.

The Lekatech Electric Hammer is powered by new and patented linear electric motor technology, being developed to revolutionize the impact hammer market. It is designed and built to be highly efficient and has a power to weight ratio superior to similar traditionally powered hammers. Furthermore, it is coming to market at the same time as electric powered carriers and is thus a natural partner for electric powered equipment.

Its features make the Lekatech Electric Hammer the ideal choice for when working in zero or low emission areas, being a major advance in hammer design and construction. Of light weight and high power, but producing low vibrations, it is built for operator comfort, economic use and high productivity. Its state-of-the-art linear electric motor produces low emissions and operating costs, and as such, has the features and attributes to transform hammer manufacturing and use worldwide.

“The Lekatech Electric Hammer is highly efficient and has a power to weight ratio superior to similar traditionally powered hammers. It is perfect for electric excavators and is thus a natural partner for electric powered equipment, and the ideal choice for when working in zero or low emission areas,” explains Antti Anttila, CEO, Lekatech Oy.

The Lekatech Electric Hammer’s design and technology delivers 70% energy savings when factoring in overall energy consumption of the equipment. In addition to energy efficiency, it significantly outperforms comparable traditional technology, providing twice the blow impact energy of a hydraulic hammer of the same size.

The Lekatech Electric Hammer is based on patented linear electric motor technology and uses electric impact hammer technology which is unparalleled globally. “Our technological breakthrough not only enables more energy efficient construction, demolition, tunnelling and minerals excavation operations, but also strengthens the realization of a green transition in these fields,” adds Kaj Koskela, sales and business development director, Lekatech Oy.

The Lekatech Electric Hammer is set to be exhibited in Norway. Lekatech thus looks forward to welcoming visitors to its stand at Vei og Anlegg (Road & Construction) from the 24-27 April, which will be located at: A02-25. As well as introducing the Lekatech Electric Hammer and its revolutionary concept, visitors will be sure of a warm Finnish welcome.
