The Combo on show at the Bauma exhibition in Germany

The patented machine, which the company says is the world’s first all-in-one wet processing plant – was unveiled at Bauma in Munich, Germany, the leading trade fair for the construction and machinery and materials industries.

The Combo encompasses five processes – feeding, sizing, sand washing, stockpiling and complete integrated water management.

“Combo is no ordinary machine but rather a technological response to the challenges faced by material processes,” said CDE chief operating officer Sean Kerr.

“It has been designed with a focus on transferring greater reliability and efficiency benefits to customers, and can be used in the construction and demolition waste recycling sector.”

Efficiency features of the Combo include modular cyclones that can be optimised; replaceable premium wear liners throughout; and rotating screen covers on spray bars.

Northern Ireland-based CDE said it works across five sectors and eight regions and has worked with customers on processing solutions for more than 25 years.
