D&Ri is heading off to Arizona, USA, this week for the Demolition Phoenix event hosted by the US National Demolition Association (NDA).
As in previous years, we will have a booth at the event and we are looking forward to catching up again with our many friends in North America and meeting some new ones. But in one key respect, for us this is an event with a difference.
We’re hosting a prize draw and making two tickets for the 2023 World Demolition Summit – taking place in Toronto, Canada on 17 and 18 October – available to the winner.

The convention and expo gets underway at the Phoenix Convention Center on the evening of Wednesday 22 February – just 10 days after the city dominated the national news headlines when the State Farm Stadium in nearby Glendale hosted Super Bowl LVII.
Demolition Phoenix will be the usual mix of indoor and outdoor events including the now annual Live Demo showing of machines and attachments, educational presentations and social events.
The expo will close at 1pm on Saturday 26 February, before the Demolition Phoenix dinner that evening, and we will be aiming to make the prize draw as close to 1pm as possible to give the maximum number of people attending the event the chance to enter.
We’re also hoping to have a very special guest to make the draw.
Full terms and conditions will be available at the booth, but the process of entering the draw couldn’t be simpler.
Just place your business card in the container and the tickets – worth more than US$1,500 – could be yours.
The World Demolition Summit comprises a conference, awards and networking and is organised by Demolition & Recycling International in cooperation with the US National Demolition Asssociation and the European Demolition Association. The headline sponsor is Volvo Construction Equipment.
