Fagioli, which helped demolish the Morandi Bridge in Genoa, was also involved in the construction of its replacement

They included the Combined Techniques award for using both specialised transport and lifting on the demolition of the Morandi Bridge in Genoa – the very project that business development manager Andrea Gazzola will speak about at the online WDS on 12 November.

Fagioli also took first prize in the SPMT (self propelled modular transporter) category, meaning it won 20% of the available categories at the prestigious industry awards

  • You can register for the World Demolition Summit at https://www.demolitionsummit.com/ – other speakers include Angus Holdsworth from British demolition consultancy firm Andun and the event, which starts at 3pm UK time, will also include the 2020 World Demolition Awards ceremony.
