This takes place in Chicago, USA, on 20-21 October, 2021.

As in previous years, the summit will comprise a welcome drinks reception on the first evening ahead of a full-day conference (photo shows Adam Safran of Saudi Aramco speaking at the WDS in 2019) followed by an awards dinner.

The 2021 event is being organised in co-operation with the European Demolition Association (EDA) and  the National Demolition Association (NDA) of the USA. The headline sponsor is Volvo Construction Equipment.

As conference organiser, Demolition & Recycling International (D&Ri) magazine is looking for presentations in the following areas:

  • Challenging and innovative demolition project reports
  • Examples of best practice in recycling and health and safety
  • New technology or techniques to solve problems
  • Research with direct relevance to demolition and recycling contractors.

D&Ri is also open to suggestions for other topics.

Please send suggestions and proposals to:
