WDA nominees receive national recognition

Two companies shortlisted in the upcoming World Demolition Awards have received national recognition at a ceremony for the in the United Kingdom demolition industry.
Both Colemans and Brown And Mason (BAM) won two awards each at the recent British Demolition Awards, held alongside the British Asbestos Awards at the Tottenham Hotspur Football Club stadium in London.
Colemans took the honours in the Demolition Project of the Year under £1 million and in the Environmental Innovation of the Year categories, while BAM’s time to shine came in the Demolition Project of the Year over £1 million and – in the shape of its employee Jack Brown – Demolition Trainee/Apprentice of the Year.
Other demolition winners were Cawarden (Demolition Contractor); Liugong (Demolition Supplier); Windsor Waste (Waste Provider) and Alert Technology (Safety Innovation).
Both Colemans and BAM will be present at next month’s World Demolition Awards, held as part of the World Demolition Summit, organised by Demolition & Recycling International in co-operation with the European Demolition Association and the National Demolition Association of the US.
